It was an honour for us to meet the President of India Shrimati Droupadi Murmu ji and former President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind ji. This recognition is not just a personal achievement but also a reminder of the responsibility I have to continue pushing boundaries, inspiring others, and making a positive difference in the world. I am deeply grateful for this incredible recognition and look forward to utilizing this platform to further my mission and contribute to society in meaningful ways.

Dadi Ki Rasoi was invited at the prestigious G20 Interfaith Summit which was held in Pune in September, 2023 on ‘Shaping World Peace and Sustainable Development’. Dadi Ki Rasoi was among the distinguished organisations to discuss on the issue of ‘Food Security’. We put forth the successful model of Dadi ki Rasoi, which was appreciated by the delegates from different countries.

Who We Are?

Dadi Ki Rasoi led by Noida resident Anoop Khanna feeds hundreds of underprivileged people in Sector 29 for Rs 5 every day. His model of cooking and serving food at Rs 5 was discussed at Rashtrapati Bhawan. He said, “As long as poverty, injustice & inequality persist, none of us can truly rest”. A simple initiative by an individual, Anoop Khanna, to help the needy has gone viral and is motivating people from across the globe to take up similar social services in their neighborhood. The concept of “Dadi Ki Rasoi” was appreciated by netizens so much so that over 50 million people have watched and shared the videos of the initiative on YouTube and other social media platforms.

No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted. It does not matter how much you donate, it should be meaningful.

OUR AIM

The aim was to provide good quality food to the common man just at Rs 5. The nominal fee is charged, to respect the dignity of everyone and not to treat them as beggars. The store also provides clothes, old clothes donated by people in good condition, to needy people at only Rs 10. “Dadi Ki Rasoi” was started on August 21, 2015, is now an inspiration and people are coming forward to take up such initiatives to bring the change in society. It doesn’t need money, but strong willpower and dedication to helping in nation-building, and people are motivated to do their little bit.

OUR MOTTO

“Small steps bring Big changes in our society." Today basic requirement for any person is – “Roti, Kapda aur Dawai", and the aim of “Dadi Ki Rasoi" is to make these three things accessible to the poorest people, with dignity. As long as poverty, injustice & inequality persist, none of us can truly rest, Action speaks much louder than words actually & Don’t turn our back to those in need.
